"Kaleb's Klub Where Everyone Has A Friend"

OUR STORY
The "why" behind Kaleb's Klub
My son Kaleb was born at just 25 weeks gestation, weighing only 2 pounds and 4 ounces. From the very beginning, he faced an uphill battle—fighting through breathing challenges, multiple blood transfusions, and countless medical complications. Despite it all, Kaleb showed incredible strength and resilience.
After months in the NICU, he finally came home, but our journey was far from over. Due to his prematurity, Kaleb lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, asthma, and severe autism. Frequent hospitalizations and a fragile immune system meant that Kaleb couldn’t attend traditional school. Eventually, he was able to attend part-time without becoming seriously ill, and he began making great progress in his therapies. Still, something was missing: friendship.
Because of his complex medical needs and autism, making and keeping friends was difficult for Kaleb. And as his mom, I struggled to find families who truly understood what we were going through. We longed for connection, community, and a place where Kaleb—and kids like him—could just be themselves.
That’s how Kaleb’s Klub was born: a safe, inclusive space where children of all abilities can find friendship, joy, and belonging—and where families like ours can find support, understanding, and community.
